Tying her passion for the beauty industry along with her long-term love for art and interaction with people and helping others, Hannah began to attend cosmetology school at Paul Mitchell the School Esani in Fall 2012. During her time in school, she studied under Carmen Lacosta, whose name appears in the credits of the the Hunger Games: Catching Fire movie, which Lacosta did the hair and makeup for. With over 40 years of experience in the beauty industry, Carmen taught Hannah various ways of cutting, coloring, and styling all types of hair. Hannah graduated from Paul Mitchell The School Esani in February 2014 after attending the night school program for 18 months. She received a final score of 99 on her final exam and also achieved all A's on all of her tests during her time at cosmetology school. Hannah graduated with additional certification in skin specialty as well as being voted one of the best known makeup artists in her class.
Hannah has spent the last three years working at Allison McTigue Salon as Allison's assistant, continuing her education in color correction and learning the french technique of hairdressing. Hannah now works as one of the three stylists at Allison McTigue Salon, building her own clientele. Along with helping clients find the most flattering haircut and color for their face shape, features, skin tone, and amount of time for upkeep, Hannah uses her skin specialty certification and advanced makeup artistry knowledge to give tips and advice on other non-hair related beauty tips. Hannah uses her extensive knowledge to make you feel the best about yourself and make each experience at Allison McTigue Salon extremely personal with one-on-one attention in a small studio located in the heart of Buckhead.
